About
An engineering practice, not a reseller
Techno Trader designs, deploys, secures and maintains business infrastructure. Platform choice follows the requirement — never the other way round.
Position
Infrastructure that can be explained, audited and recovered
Most environments fail not because a product was wrong, but because nobody wrote down why it was chosen, how it was configured, or how it is restored. That gap is the work.
Engagements begin with an inventory of what actually exists and how it is used, and end with documentation the client owns: topology, addressing, configuration baselines, runbooks and rollback procedures.
Delivery is remote. Design, deployment, hardening, validation and ongoing maintenance are carried out for clients across multiple regions and time zones.
Principles
How the practice operates
Engineering-First Approach
Requirements, constraints and failure modes are established before any platform is selected. Design precedes procurement.
Security by Design
Transport encryption, least privilege, segmentation and abuse controls are part of the build, not a later remediation project.
Vendor-Neutral Architecture
Open-source and commercial stacks are assessed on fit. There is no incentive to place a product that does not serve the workload.
Documented Deployments
Topology, addressing, credentials handling, runbooks and rollback steps are handed over with the environment.
Remote Global Delivery
Design, deployment and maintenance are delivered remotely for businesses in multiple regions and time zones.
Long-Term Support
Post-deployment ownership: patching, monitoring review, capacity checks and change support over the platform lifecycle.
Method
The six-stage lifecycle
Every engagement follows the same six stages, whatever the platform. Each stage has a defined outcome and a document you keep, so you always know where the project stands and what has been handed over.
- 01
Discover
Inventory the current environment, measure real usage and record constraints, dependencies and risk.
What you get
Current-state inventory and risk register - 02
Design
Produce a topology, sizing model, addressing plan and security model before anything is procured.
What you get
Design document, sizing and cost model - 03
Deploy
Build in a controlled sequence with change windows, coexistence and a defined rollback point.
What you get
Change plan with an agreed rollback point - 04
Harden
Apply baselines, encryption, segmentation, abuse controls and least-privilege administrative access.
What you get
Security baseline and access matrix - 05
Validate
Test against the design: failover, call quality, restore, load behaviour and access control.
What you get
Test results signed off against the design - 06
Support
Hand over documentation and runbooks, then maintain patching, monitoring and capacity over time.
What you get
Runbooks, monitoring and ongoing maintenance
