Architecture
GravityZone protection layers
Prevention, risk analytics and optional detection and response are layered on one agent, with policy driven from a single console.

FAQ
Bitdefender GravityZone questions we are asked
- Is EDR included?
- No, it is a higher tier. The base product is prevention plus risk analytics; EDR and XDR sensors are licensed separately.
- Does it work on servers and virtual desktops?
- Yes, with a security server offloading scanning in virtualised environments so hosts are not overloaded.
- Can it coexist with Microsoft Defender?
- Defender steps aside automatically when a third-party product registers. Running two active engines is not advisable.
