Architecture
Kaspersky managed endpoint layout
A single console drives policy, patching and encryption across device groups, with servers treated differently from workstations.
01 · Management
Security Center consoleAdministration groupsRole separationConsole access is limited and audited; it is an administrative target in its own right.
02 · Endpoints

03 · Controls

04 · Assurance

FAQ
Kaspersky Business questions we are asked
- Which tier do we need?
- It depends on whether you want patching, encryption and control modules. Select covers core protection; Advanced adds patch and encryption management; EDR sits above that.
- Can the console be hosted in our country?
- Yes, the management server can be deployed on-premises or on your own cloud instance rather than using a hosted console.
- Will it slow older machines?
- Scan scheduling and exclusions are tuned for the hardware. Where machines are genuinely too old, a lighter agent is the honest recommendation.
