FAQ

IONOS questions we are asked

Shared hosting or a VPS?
Shared until resource contention or isolation becomes the problem. Once a site needs specific PHP versions, background workers or predictable CPU, a VPS is cheaper than firefighting.
Is Plesk included and configured properly?
It is commonly bundled, but defaults are permissive. Panel port restriction, MFA, service plan limits and update policy are configured explicitly.
How is data protected?
Provider snapshots plus an independent offsite backup, with restores tested — provider snapshots alone are not a recovery plan.
