Capabilities

What we implement

  • User journey and conversion-path mapping
  • Wireframing and interactive prototyping
  • Design system: type scale, colour tokens, spacing and components
  • Mobile-first responsive layout rules
  • Accessibility review against WCAG contrast and focus criteria

Security

How it is hardened

  • Clear consent and privacy affordances on data-collection screens
  • No dark patterns in conversion flows
  • Accessible error and validation states

Architecture

Design system and journey flow

Design starts from the decisions a visitor has to make, then hardens into tokens and components so the tenth page looks like the first.

  1. 01 · Discovery

Audience and journey mappingCompetitor reviewContent inventory

What the visitor is trying to do decides the layout, not a template preference.

  2. 02 · Structure

    SitemapWireframesInteractive prototype

Structure is agreed in low fidelity, where changes are cheap.

  3. 03 · Design system

    Type scaleColour tokensSpacing rulesComponent library

Tokens rather than hard-coded values, so a brand change is a settings change.

  4. 04 · Validation

Responsive breakpointsContrast and focus checksHandover specification

Accessibility and mobile behaviour are checked in design, not discovered in build.

FAQ

Website Design questions we are asked

Do you design before building?
Yes for anything beyond a single page. Structure and key screens are approved before front-end work starts.
Can you work with our existing brand?
Yes. Existing brand assets are turned into a working web design system rather than reinvented.
How many revision rounds are included?
Two structured rounds per stage is the norm. Scope for further rounds is agreed rather than assumed.
Is accessibility included?
Contrast, focus states, heading order and keyboard paths are part of the design standard. Formal certification is a separate exercise.
