Cloud & Virtualization
DigitalOcean
Developer-oriented cloud with predictable droplet pricing, used where a small managed footprint beats running your own hypervisor.

Capabilities
What we implement
- Droplet sizing and region selection
- VPC, floating IP and load balancer setup
- Managed database and block storage integration
- Snapshot and off-provider backup strategy
Security
How it is hardened
- Cloud firewall rules with default-deny inbound
- SSH key-only access and disabled password login
- Team accounts with MFA and scoped API tokens
Editions & pricing
DigitalOcean editions and vendor pricing
Vendor list prices for the editions we deploy. Deployment, migration, hardening and support are quoted separately by Techno Trader PK — they are never bundled into these figures.

Architecture

A small managed footprint: public entry is narrowed to a load balancer, application droplets stay on a private VPC and backups leave the provider.

FAQ
DigitalOcean questions we are asked
- Are droplet snapshots a backup?
- Not on their own. They live in the same account as the workload, so a copy is also written to a second provider or on-premises target and restore-tested.
- When is DigitalOcean the wrong fit?
- When you need enterprise networking, compliance attestations or region breadth that only the large hyperscalers publish. For a handful of application servers it is usually cheaper and simpler.
- Can you migrate an existing VPS in?
- Yes — the environment is inventoried, rebuilt from configuration, tested in parallel, then cut over in a scheduled window with rollback ready.
