FAQ
Vultr questions we are asked
- Why pick Vultr over a hyperscaler?
- Region choice and price predictability. If a workload has to sit in a specific city with low latency and a fixed monthly cost, it is often the practical answer.
- Can we run our own image?
- Yes, custom ISO and image upload are supported, which suits appliances and hardened base builds that must match an existing estate.
- Is bare metal worth it?
- For sustained CPU or disk-bound workloads, yes. For bursty web traffic, shared compute with headroom is usually cheaper.
