FAQ
Plivo questions we are asked
- Can voice and SMS share one provider sensibly?
- Yes, and it simplifies numbering and billing. Keep the credentials and permissions separate per workload so a compromise of one is contained.
- How is inbound failover handled?
- A secondary termination address on the trunk, plus a PBX health check so traffic moves before users report faults.
- Do we need programmable flows?
- Only when routing depends on application data. Standard IVR and queue behaviour belongs on the PBX where it is easier to change.
